Premier League Preview: Could Carlos Tevez Return

All 20 Premiership teams are in action between now and Monday and that means there is plenty of opportunity to bet on football and make some money over the next few days. The SportMoose has been allowed in from the cold and has been busy going over some of the biggers games taking place in the Premier League this weekend.

Swansea vs Manchester City

Swansea host league leaders Manchester City on Sunday in a game that could see Carlos Tevez pull on a Manchester City shirt for the first time since September. Tevez recently returned to action in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Preston North End then scored on his first public appearance in the reserves against Bolton Wanderers, and City could do with their former captain as they have found goals difficult to come by on their travels; scoring just twice in their last five away league games.

Usually you would lump your entire net worth on a City win here, especially as the latest betting odds price them as 1.67 favourites with Swansea 7.00 and the draw at 4.00; but the Swans have been fantastic at home this season and have beaten Arsenal there as well as drawing with both Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea and they could force a draw.

A draw at 4.00.

Manchester United vs West Bromwich Albion

Manchester United take on West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford in a game that should be superb for both United fans and neutrals but not so much for fans of West Brom.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men were played off the park midweek by Athletic Bilbao and deserved to lose 3-2 but United have a habit of coming back strongly from defeats in Europe and that spells bad news for the Baggies, especially when you consider there have been 52 goals scored at Old Trafford this season; more than any other top flight ground.

The 1.30 odds on a United win are too short to be too profitable but other areas to look would be the Over 2.5 goals and even the over 3.5 goals market as this could easily turn into a proverbial bloodbath.

United to win and over 2.5 goals double.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Everton face Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park in a game where the odds on all outcomes are quite long. Everton have seriously struggled for goals again this season and no player has scored more than three times in the current campaign so you would expect Spurs, who are third in the Premier League, to keep a clean sheet and easily win.

However, Harry Redknapp's side have suffered a wobble of late and all the speculation surrounding Redknapp and the vacant England job has not helped. That said Tottenham are still the much stronger side on paper and should see off the Toffees who will fight to the death but Spurs just have too much firepower not to win this won.

A Tottenham win at 2.64

Arsenal vs Newcastle United

Arsenal and Newcastle United face off in the Premier League in the Monday night kickoff and many are eager to see how Arsenal perform after their 3-0 demolition of AC Milan still was not enough to stop their exit from the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger's men will be full of confidence thanks to the Milan win and the frontline know they are fighting for their places in the side after the signing of Lukas Podolski for £10.9 million in the week.

Newcastle really need to win if they are to keep their hopes up for an unlikely fourth place finish but you just cannot see three points going their way on Monday. They won this fixture 1-0 last season but do not have a good record against Arsenal away having drawn one and lost six of the previous eight meetings.

An Arsenal win at 1.50
